STORE POLICIES

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that a given item is legal to own in your state - please do your research before buying.  If you purchase an item and are then unable to accept the firearm due to your state laws, a 20% restocking fee will be assessed.

Our photos provide the most accurate representation of an item's condition. We make no representations, warranties or guarantees regarding the proper function of a given firearm - we are not gunsmiths. We do our very best to accurately describe each item, nevertheless, mistakes do happen and there is always a chance for missing or damaged parts. If you feel that an item has been misrepresented (for any reason, within the 3-day inspection period), I will provide a full refund of your purchase price.

Above all, I want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase! 

Have your local gunsmith inspect any firearms you purchase from us before firing. We do not test fire the firearms that we sell - the buyer assumes all responsibility for inspection and safe handling of the firearms we sell.

If there are any questions regarding an item's condition, please do not hesitate to reach out and we can send detailed high resolution photos of any area of the gun you would like. Email questions to: ryan@highstandardsok.com. I make every effort to respond to questions as quickly as possible.

PAYMENT POLICIES

We accept all major credit cards, however, we cannot accept payment for firearms through any payment service such as PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, etc. - firearms purchases are strictly forbidden by the user agreements of these payment services. 

Regarding mailed payments: US postal money orders are preferred and ensure faster processing of your order, however personal checks, certified checks and cashiers checks are also acceptable. Please note, personal checks are subject to a 5 business day waiting period to ensure funds have cleared.

The buyer should be aware that any form of mailed payment that does not clear (a bad check) is considered mail fraud and is in fact a federal offense - any such instances will be referred to the appropriate state's attorney general. Once payment has cleared, please allow up to 3-5 days for order processing, packing, etc. All shipments are held until payment has been verified to have cleared.

Notice to Oklahoma buyers: We are not a store front and do not offer a local pick up option. If you are a local buyer within a 120 mile radius of Tulsa, OK (within the state of Oklahoma only) I will waive the shipping fee for the first item only and either drop your purchase off at a local FFL retailer with whom I do business, or ship to an FFL of your choosing within a 120 mile radius of Tulsa for free (again, first item only).
Please be aware that for purchases within the state of Oklahoma we will collect sales tax (4.5%).

SHIPPING POLICIES

The buyer must make arrangements with the local FFL of their choosing to receive the firearm - we will then contact the designated FFL to make arrangements to ship the item(s). We are a licensed dealer, and as such, follow all applicable laws and regulations regarding firearms shipments.  We do not ship handguns to C&R holders - only licensed dealers.

We will ship upon confirmation of payment and receipt of a signed, legible copy of the buyer's designated FFL (to be verified). Scanning/emailing of FFL licenses is preferred - email to ryan@highstandardsok.com.

I will happily ship to any state (I am registered with the DOJ for CA firearms shipments), however it is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that purchases are legal in their state and to follow their own state regulations.

Generally, firearms will be shipped via the most economical carrier and shipping cost always includes insurance - as the seller, we reserve the right to choose the appropriate carrier depending on the item. Handguns will ALWAYS be shipped via USPS and will ONLY be shipped to licensed dealers (I will not ship directly to C&R holders for handgun sales).

 

As soon as an item ships, tracking information will be emailed to both the buyer and FFL dealer designated to receive the item(s). Shipping charges to Alaska and Hawaii will be higher than standard and can be quoted upon request. Winners of multiple auctions may qualify for a combined shipping rate at our discretion. Please contact us to discuss combined shipping cost.

Items damaged in shipping:
Once the item is received, it is your responsibility to thoroughly inspect the item prior to taking delivery from your FFL dealer. If there is any damage or defect not specified in the listing/auction please take pictures of the damage and contact us immediately - DO NOT take possession of the item. We will not reimburse any dealer fees, shipping and transfer fees, parts or repairs for damage or defects found AFTER you have taken possession. Buyer pays for return shipping costs.
